Photos of the moon are only so interesting to folks that aren’t big fans of space exploration, but the latest from NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Rover should be of interest to everyone. The photos reveal that not only are the flags that we left on the surface of the moon still there, most of them are still standing.
No matter how you look at it, these are some very cool – if not aesthetically pleasing – photos. This should also give a little nudge to moon landing conspiracy theorists, though their steadfast nature means we’ll have few converts, if any. Of course, if anyone speaks up against it, we can sick Buzz on ’em.
