There are countless photography trade shows throughout the year, each filling its own special niche. It’s a nice way to make sure people get to see exactly what they want, but it’s not exactly the most economical way to do things for show organizers or attendees.
The PMA had success co-locating with CES, as did the PRO in 2011 – so much so that the Photographic Research Organization is doing it again with the 2012 WPPI convention. Instead of a separate spring show, the PRO will take place on February 23rd and 24th in the Tropicana hotel, right across from the MGM Grand where the WPPI is being held.
“Just as we did last year,” says PRO VP Jeff Neal, “beginning our PRO seminar and trade show at the end of WPPI 2012 in Las Vegas, NV, enables PRO members to take advantage of the networking opportunities with professional photographers.”
